There are two ways to shop: You can order ahead online and we will assemble your order for pickup, or you can make your own selections here at Wishing Star Farm. Please note, we do not ship.
Shopping In Person
As soon as the weather permits, we will set out all the plants so that folks can shop, as we have traditionally done in years past. Seeing the plants in person helps customers select which colors of the flowers and ornamentals are their favorites. We are always here to answer questions and happy to offer suggestions to folks as well. We don’t set the plants out until danger of frost has passed and nighttime weather conditions are favorable for young seedlings. Depending on the weather, we expect this will be around May 12th.
We accept cash or checks for payment at the time you pick up your plants here at the farm. Checks should be made out to James Bono (not Wishing Star Farm). Online orders will present a total only; no payments are accepted online.

If you have favorite varieties of vegetables, herbs, or flowers, we suggest you place an order online early so that we can set aside those items for you to pick up when they are ready in May. You can certainly switch out or add items when you arrive at the farm. Once your order is received, we will contact you to setup/confirm a pickup date. Put your spring fever to good use and get your garden prepared in advance, so you can go to work planting as soon as the weather permits.
